Ya I had heard about it last May when I got my EP, but it's SOOOO nice to see a prototype out. Now the only question on my mind is, are we finally gonna get to see a Honda V8? :D

doubt it honda is way too conservatie for a V8. although i'd love to see them prove me wrong.
a large v-6 truck? wonder if it will sell well.

no, unfortunately it'll be a V6... from what i heard, honda wants to see how the american market will take to this truck 1st and if there's a demand for it, then maybe a V8... (i think)

I know ford, gm, and toyota have 4 banger pickups. So they could have a 4 or a 6 banger in there.

I guess it's a mid-size not a full-size? If so, a V6 will be more than idequete. The 240 HP 3.5-liter Oddessy V6 would be pimp in that thing. But if it's a full size, it's gonna need like a 5.6+ liter V8 with DOHC VTEC 32-valves to put like 375HP or something like that. Blow away that Hemi :p Nissan has done a great job with the Titan...awesome powertrain. Pulls away from ALL competitors in the same class loaded and unloaded, including Dodge's all powerful Hemi. But all these new trucks are coming out with weak ass independent suspension. We need a truck maker to stick with some rock solid solid-axle suspension setups, so I can make a flexy ass rockcrawler out of it. :D

The "truck" is based on the Pilot, which is based on MDX which is based on Odyssey. This "truck" is uni-body, so no frame. Honda will most likeley stuff it with 3.5 liter V6 from Pilot/MDX/Odyssey. I would say the price will be in the low-30's to mid-30's

true, but, thats in the rangers, s-10(now colorado), Sonoma(now Canyon). they are compact pickups. the Honda SUT, if built on the Pilot/MDX/Odyssey platform, will NEED a V-6. and since the only engine cuffently offered with this platfor is the 3.5L as mentioned, it will most likely be than engine being used. the K24, though a very good motor, sould not be good enough for a truck this large. id like to see a Honda small pickup built on the Civic/CR-V/Element/RSX platform. That would have the K24 and would be the first, to my knowledge, Sport Compact Pickup(Dakota R/T is mid-size, and the Extreme is not a "Sport" Pickup, its all show)

that would be sweet
