MSD retarding with original hondata reflash on an a2 head a3 bottom end

is it possible to retard the cams enough for a 50 shot? what is possible besides the whole thing over a2 swaps... lmk

if it were me, id spend the extra dough on programmable hondata. good insurance

retarding the timing would help, but you'd also need to put more fuel in.

so msd + vafc, and you might be able to work it.

Shouldn't need to retard it for a 50 shot. Nobody in the Nitrous forum has ever had a problem with the basic 50-55 shot.

ask nug (dude with a 740) he got hooked up with free Hondata and a NX kit. they did some dynos n testing on his ride. maybe he's still around to enlighten us.

So it is possible to run a 50-55 shot with the original hondata program even though it says not to? I am f*ing lost!!!:confused: I still need to decide... type s head + 75 shot or a3 head +50 shot, hondata and wait for cams,throttle body,intake manifold?
