only suspension mod is tein springs and they have never given me trouble till yesterday...

all of a sudden when i hit a small bump in the road, or turn my wheel either direction at a dead stop it makes a poping noise comming from front of the car, i am thinking this might be a result of damage to the strut, but i am not sure. Ride height is still the same, but it does seem a "stiffer" ride when i run over small bumps or potholes.

any suggestions or ideas? is this the strut?

Sounds like it. I had Tokico struts on my 98 ZX2 and they made popping noises cause of the MacPherson set up.

i know the problem... had it happen to me. but stinkin honda fixed it because i was clueless. i overlooked the obvious. tighten the strut bolts that are under the hood. make sure you jack it up to get it tight as possible. it cost me $47. try that and it should fix it, if not check the other bolts.
