5 Lug Conversion Question

For those who know, please answer/reply.

I'm thinking of getting a 5 lug conversion from a RSX. I dunno when, just waiting for one to show up at my friend's body shop. My question is this. For example, if I change my suspension to Tein, KW, or Mugen spring/strut/coilover combo, will it still fit my EP along with the lug conversion?

I did the 5 lug using my stock struts, aftermarket suspension will fit with no problem.

well, it will fit with no problem. but one thing to look out for is wether your stock struts have the 14 or 16mm front lower strut bolts. if you have the 14mm ones, it will work, but you should upgrade to the 16mm struts to prevent any extra play between the knuckle & strut.

the 16mm front lower strut bolts make for a seamless fit.

If ur going for the conversion why not just buy the 2004 Si lug set.
After all it is our ride so it'll fit perfect. just my 2 cents

04 lugs are hard to come by since they are hardly bought. As for RSX, they are everywhere. =)

Can't you just buy the part off Honda? Unless ur friend owns a chop shop most won't be sellin. and if it is in a accident one of the axles are usually busted up anyways. Anyways if u find some luck u. :cool:

is there a shopping list for the 5 lug conversion somewhere?

would be nice to know everthing that would be needed for this conversion.

If I get it off Honda, then it'll cost me big bucks. My friend own's a Body shop and they buy cars from the auction to use as parts. I might get lucky and they get one in that is in good shape for a good price.
