such an easy install.Don't worry about taking off the cover. i took off the valve cover by myself in under 10 mins. the painting took a while, its not that hot at this time of the year so i took it inside to dry and it turned out great!

Nice! Pax's vids sure do help out. Tell me if i'm wrong but i think that oldschoolimport was the inventor of the DIY $8 red valve cover. I need to do mine. I've just been to busy of late.

Before u paint it I think u should go buy a OEM valve gasket. and replace it when u put ur painted one back on. :D

I keep hearing this as well but Honda says you don't have to since the gasket is suppose to be reuseable hence why its made from rubber.

In Paxies DIY video he reused the gasket as well

the gasklet see,ed perfectly fine, and had no craking rips or tears. I think if someone does this diy in 4years they'll want to change it, but all EP are relatively new

when you put the gasket back on did you have to use any silicone to make it stick? or did it line up perfectly?

so do you need to use silicone to put the gasket or does it hold well on its own?
