Will the Magnaflow mid-pipe work w/ stock muffler?

A friend and I were wondering this the other day; if we got the Magnaflow catback and for some reason, found it to be too loud for long trips, etc could we swap the stock muffler in and directly bolt it onto the Magnaflow midpipe?

I figured that since the T1R midpipe worked w/ stock muffler (at least I think it does anways) that the Magnaflow might as well.

At the very least we'd have a midpipe cheaper than the T1R even if we decided against using the Magnaflow muffler in favor of the stock one ;)

no it will not work with the stock muffler uness you cut and weld. where the magnaflow connects to the axle back has a different flange on it that stock. you could make it work, but you'd have to weld, it won't bolt right up.
