man...i was pissed!! :mad: i bought the ep3 when it first came out and three months later they droped the price from 20k to 16k :'( :'( ...that's 4k extra in mods that i could have used to bolt on a turbo or something. :D Regardless...i love the car...i first learn how to drive stick in that car...memories...:'(

I think we got the car for $14,800 or somthing like that ( the dealer hadnt sold any si's so they had a hella deal on 3 of them), but i had a 6 month old car that i traded in for it, so they tacked on $2,000 so i got it for $16,800 with every available honda accessory for it.

We don't have sales taxes in NH...however, they make up for that in registration. I've been looking around, and the cheapest I have yet to find for an 04 is 17100 with title fee. I'm hoping that will be going down with the anticipation of the end of the season for selling 04's and bringing in 05's. I'll be buying mine in May as soon as I sell my Del Sol VTEC.

Every time I read threads like this I feel like either I got ripped off or there are a lot of people who aren't telling the whole truth about the price they paid. Bought my '03 in October '03 for $16,900... after tax title and registration it was $18,300 out the door - no fogs, no matts, no nothin, and I had to negotiate to get there... with like 4 different dealers....

there was one dealer who even had an 02 on the lot still and wouldn't let it go for any less than 16k. I offered 15000 and they said sorry 16k is the rock bottom price, so I left and bought the 03 instead for $900 more....

Everyone says they are gettin the cars from like 14-16,500... I don't get it. Used 2002 EP w/15,000 miles sells for 16500 here...

I wouldn't feel too bad about paying $16.9 back in October. Honda allowed dealers another $1000 incentive in November that was good until 12/31/03 if I remember correctly. I was quoted back in November between $16,822 to $16,500 depending on the dealer.

When I bought my car last week, I was told Honda gave out another $500 to dealers to clear out remaining stock. That put my car right at $15,900 ("sale price") and I was able to arm wrestle another $100 off.

Your car was still technically being sold in the same model year and your region might have something to do with it. Mine was 'technically' a year old already... Hence the better deal. But, I was allowed less for my trade on Feb 28, 04 than I would have been allowed had I traded in November 2003. It all comes out in the wash.

I almost bought a 2002 Si last month that had 13,000 miles on the clock and two years of warranty left. They have a price in the paper of $12,998 and I was quoted $12,500 for the car if I wanted it. The car looked like it was in good condition.

I paid 14,500 out the door(that's the price I financed) for my 2003 Si leftover.

2003 White Si MSRP 21,118 with the options I got, bought on Feb 28th 04.

It's at 513 already. I got almost a 100 mile trip to school and work each day. Bummer for me. Time to get hte CRX back on the road.
