i was just curious if these were the right front upper strut bars for our cars. they call it a tie bar. it is the same as a front upper strut bar right??? same meaning different words???

tie bars and strut bars kinda do the same thing... they both hold your struts so they dont move exessively... strut bars hold the top, and tie bars hold the bottom... those look like strut bars...

i found this at robear. they called it a NEUSPEED Front Upper Strut Tie-Bar connects the left and right side upper strut mounts in your engine compartment to increase chassis rigidity. The result is improved steering response, especially on cars with high performance wheel & tire packages.

i just wanna make sure that it is a front upper strut bar.
the tie-bar thing got me confused.

thats a strut bar... like i said, it keeps the top of the struts from moving too excessively (away from and towards each other) that bar looks mighty thin... i hope it doesnt cost much...

That is a generic photo. Yet it is close to what the bar looks like. Tie bar is different. Call showstoppers if interested.

Yep it is, it is not that thin. Quite strong really, and is cheaper then most of the other folks.
