how much did all of you pay to have your body kits painted and installed. I just got back from this place where a buddy of mine was going to "hook" me up. He said that he would paint my lip kit and install it for 1000!!! I about shit a brick house! Then I asked him how much to just paint it...he then said 600 bucks. That seems REALLY high. Keep in mind also.. I bought the kaminari kit.. so it is strictly a lip kit

if you search in the areo section you will find that this topic has been covered a few times.

when i had my BC3 kit prepped for install i was quoted 1000 for paint and install. other members were qouted roughly the same.

you also have to remember that this is dependent on location...it does seem however that the price is a bit on the high side

I paid 1100 to get mine put on and painted. I have the buddy club front, wings west sides and rear. It seems when the body shops get ahold of the buddy club kits the price always seems to go up 50 or 100 bucks :D I mean im sure the fitment on the bc is always so perfect ;)

What body kit do u have? This is important because it is going to cost more to paint a whole BC front and rear bumber than it is goign to cost to paint a lip kit.

i got side skirts for 160 and 125 to paint...then got my front and rear for 300 and another 125 too install (which required shaving and a lil modifying) and getting it painted for around 200 for front and rear so a grand total when my front and rear painted = 910.00

ps i get my stuff painted from a friend in his garage using ppg detron paint  www.2enspire.com

$1000 seems average, I don't know if you have done any kind of body work or prep work but paint prep is a pain in the ass, there alot of steps and processes, I know if i were doing i would charge that much my self. I am currently prepping my widebody kit and my whole car for paint and it is really frustrating, but will be well worth it

That seems to be average(1000). I know when cheryl got her eclipse repainted(the paint was goin bad), it would have cost her 3-5k for the paint job!

But we were lucky. With me bitchin, the paint job was done for free.:D

i agree that 1000 is average, but my friend paid $1600 and change to get a kit installed on his is 300 with factory like paint work. paint work is something woth spending extra on (as long as the work is worth the extra $$).

you always get what you pay for in life....

I just bought a Buddy Club 3 rear bumper from Showstoppers yesterday, and took it to a bodyshop today...

Its costing me $250, but I'm still needing to pay a muffler shop to modify my exhaust to fit the bumper, then I can install it:)
