What is the fastest landspeed record for an ep?

i almost hit 100mph yesturday in mine but i almost slammed into nother car, so i slowed dwon. how fast have u gone.

133 MPH. It was on a long stretch on I-480, near cleveland. Then I got scared. As weird as it sounds, going that fast, with the possibility of crashing made me slow down. If i am on road with absolutely no traffic and no cops, i would have gone faster. But, who has the fastest landspeed record?

Also, have you ever got that feeling of going really fast, then slowing down to like 70MPH? it feels like you are going 25 MPH. I think the feeling is velocitation. I could be wrong.

yea its like your so into and used the speed that when you happen to slow down to someone in front of you whos already doing 80 (where the speed limit is 55) and to them, its already fast, but to you its like they made you brake so hard you left skid marks :)

another thing is when im going like 80-85, it feels cool, then when i slow down for a toll, and then speed back up to 80-85 it feels like im hauling ass

Well, it's like this. . .I see a young dude sitting at his computer after 9th grade homework. ..THinking,"Man, I can't wait till I get my license in two years. Yo, the girls gonna be trippin when the see me rolling in my whip!!" And he sits patiently waiting, looking up cool wheels like we do. But he hasn't done his research like a good 9th grader should and has come up w/ well you saw them. And of course the Honda is well its a Honda, so he picked that to be his first car. Good choice, but he wants to drive around at 100mph and almost hit other vehicles.

I have no problem w/messing w/him for now. Its actually quite funny. I hope no mods get upset, but this has to go on for awhile:D

I hit 125 before I had to slow it down... My stupidest move still was the 112 mph in a 25 mph zone... I will never do that again... It was not a neighborhood and it was late at night.... One of these days im gunna take it out to a long stretch of open freeway and put it up to 137...

I did 110MPH this morning going to work around 6:00 am. I raced a Dodge Dakota Sport V8. The truck went on with with me until about 85mph and thats it for him.:D

Ive done 125 or more(not sure cause my eyes where glued to the road) This was at around 3 at night on the tollroad with no trafic for miles. It scared the shit out of me and I dont think Ill ever do any thing like that again. Then again that was when I was bone stock and my 4x4 Ep ran the risk of flipping over at such high speeds( at least it felt). But really going this fast in this kind of car is stupid and scary as crap! The fastest Ive been was in a BMW 5 series with me driving about 135!!! the funny thing is it felt like It was going about 80mph:eek: Man those germans really know how to build thier cars!!!!

135.08 mph is the actual gearing limit of the Si tranny.

Go find a K20A2 motor and Type-S tranny, find a rolling road dyno like a Mustang Dyno, and you can hit an indicated 175.

Well, my speedo stopped at 145 and my rpms were still climbing. 1fastminivan was in the car with me and we couldnt really go anymore since traffic was about to come up.

Before Hondata I hit the rev limiter in 5th at about 138.

And heres a bonus, im running 205/50 15s so I should be running 3 mph faster than what the speedo reads!!

Thats a trip, I don't see how anything past 131-133 is possible. I had my car on a perfectly flat stretch about a month ago. It was cool outside, no wind and wide open and flat as a board for about 5 miles. I pegged 131 indicated and the car was redlined unable to go any faster. All of the magazines I've read explained the Ep3's topspeed was 131 also? Did my car just come with a governor? I just don't see how some of you are getting 137, 140+ etc....

I read that are EP stock has a top speed of 137mph. If you change tires to a diffrent size that will change it too for what it will read on the speedo.
