02-03 tails on 04 si help!!!

so guys i know this has been over many times...but i need a clear answer if the 02-03 tails fit the 04 si. ive heard that it doesnt fit i've heard that it does. who has actually slapped them on the 04 si? if anybody has please post details and stuff. thanks

You just have to play with the sockets.

I checked with my local dealer and found out that the 04 tails fits perfectly on the 02-03 EP. My mech and service manager looked over the part numbers and the diagrams and concluded that it's all the same, just a different lens.

We also took a look at the front head lights and determined that it's too damn expensive. The tails run $80 each but the headlights run about $250 each. The problem with the headlights is that with the extra buld, you would have to replace the entire wiring harness to accomodate the extra bulb. The 04 wiring harness is another $500. All together, 04 headlight swap is about $1000 just for parts.

HOLY CRAP!!! well if someone wants to swap between the 02/03 to the 04's...thats your taste. But I think the headlights and tails of the 04 are fugly:(

This is good to hear!!! I got a set of 02-03's off ebay to put on my 04. I just haven't had a chance to try them yet.

Just an FYI: You will have to remove the rear bumper in order to install the rear tails.

What if you had an 04 and wanted to get the 04 JDM projectors? Would a new wire harness be needed as well? I believe the 04 JDM projectors have 4 different bulbs.

I might be the other person here who likes the 04 headlights better than the 02-03's, at least in a functional way. I wouldn't mind attempting a swap over some weekend if someone in the area were interested.

w\and who would do it ? would a honda dealership have the knowledge to do this ? cause i have a 04 as well but i wanna swap em out for a 02/03 si or ctr.
