and they told me there was nothing wrong with it. all they did was drive it. so i went back and drove it with them, let them hear the clunking in each gear. then test drove a new EP, and it had NONE of this crap. but all the guy could say was..."well my tech and i both drove it and cannot find anything wrong, so just keep an eye on it and bring it back if it gets worse"...that was a load of bullshit....i am getting real pissed about this car, and the problems i am having...and i can't even get shit for trade in...our cars are down to 10,400 now...what a load of crap.. that is less then the 99-00 Si...sorry, done venting

They did the same crap to me. I even sat the service manager in a new si to show him the difference between brand new and mine

I think changing tranny fluid will help. Not much else you can do.

I am changing my dealership because of my trans. My dealer just sucked. Now when I am depressing the cluch and I am getting a sound there and most of the fixes for that have been the Slave Cylinder. What has been one of the biggest things to fix the crunch? Is it the slave cylinder. I have two things pointing to it. One happens now and then but the cluch sound I get on a regular drive. I am happy. This new dealership better not try lubing it to fix the problem because when I called honda to help out on my cluch they asked if my dealership had done this and I said no but asked why. They stated to me that NO part of are trans needs to be lubed. It is all a sealed system.

So if your dealership tries to do this to you let them know that.

But you forgot to add that this is your 3rd or 4th honda tranny that you've been through. :)

Where did you hear or read that the EP3 is worth $10,400??

Kelly Blue Book = $12,000(trade in) $13,960(Private party)

N.A.D.A = $13,750(trade in) $16,025(Average retail)

These numbers are base on a 2002 Civic Si with 19,500 miles and in EXCELLENT condition! (of course):D

(of course):D from a dealer where i tried to trade in my car...the dealers go off of Black Book, not blue book. if i could get more that would be great...then i could get rid of her...but not if they are only giving me 10k it is crazy!!!

They're definately lowballing you. Last month when I was going to trade my Civic in for an EVO VIII the dealership offered me $13,500!!! There's nothing special about my EP3-it's STOCK!!! Try to sell it on your own. And, if you can't try different dealerships!:)
