I went to a dealer in Mass. and they told me about an engine for our cars called a DART engine. Supposedly it is an engine taken from a CR-V and i am guessing that it is suped up because it runs for about 10g's. It is suppose to produce around 220hp. Anyone else heard of this?

The DART engine is a b-series CRATE engine. This engine is NOT built by Honda. It is used as a starting point for High to Very High power apps..

Dart has been manufacturing high proformance heads for domestic V8's for years. They are a well know and reputible company. Just a few years ago is when they "jumped on the band-wagon". Since no one was making aftermarket blocks and OEM B-series block were in high demand, they helped out by making aftermarket blocks. They are fairly expensive and for the hard-core tuner looking for max hp.

It's called "The Beast". And it's manufactured by Mr. Gasket, and was designed by Tom Payn of Payn Technologies (Vendor here - Call him if you're interested). And like Costello said, it's a B-Series Crate motor. Here's some specs:
The Beast is available in two configurations:
GX20 Long block (B18 V-TEC GSR Head)
With warranty (12 month 12,000 mile)
GX20S Short block (B18 Dart block)
Both are naturally aspirated applications.
