I am looking at getting a set of Tein's next week. My question is which set up is the best value? It is my daily driver. Are the flex's really worth the extra money over the SS or basics? Any information you could share would be helpful. Thank you.

Tein basic and Ss is made for em2.
You would also need to reuse stock upper mounts and bearings.
Also, need to make bigger holes for front camber bolts.
Tein flex is direct swap.
Compatible with EDFC..
Spring Rates
6/336
8/448
for Basic/SS

8/448
10/559
for Flex

I thought Basics were ep3-specific (or there is a set of ep3-specific
Basics)? PM HondaMan, he would know.
Flex is overkill unless you are going to be doing heavy auto-x/track
days, IMO.

Nope. If you go to Tein official website.
Part #'s for em2 and ep3 is identical.
Basic for em2 and ep3= DSA22-LUSS2
ss for em2 = DSA22-KUSS2
ep3 Flex = DSA12-6USS1

supposedly the only teins that you have to modify to fit are the SS. The Basics and the Flex bolt up to the EP3 with no mods. The SS, being designed for the EM2, needs larger holes machined in.
