I just got a quote to paint the ctr usdm kit.
I showed him pictures and gave him all the information.
He said he would do everything (sand, primer, and paint)
for $300. He would take his time since it's a side job, but he is using dealership equipment. (About a week to paint.)
I'm not worried about how long it takes, as long as it's done well.
One more thing he mentioned, is that they have a special primer on site that helps prevent rock chipping. It's really strong stuff supposedly. He showed me a random piece of plastic with the primer on it. There were no marks on it, but then he said they beat on it with a chain of keys. I know bigcase said his chips kinda easy; I'm hoping this helps eliminate it.
So I'd get the heavy duty primer, full sanding, and full painting for 300 bucks.
