Will this be included as part of the Kpro maps? If so will I be able to grab it online the same way that I get updates? Thanks;)

Everything we have tested NA and boost has passsed a smog test as long as the catalytic converter is in place. Usually the results are indistinguishable from stock.

In a few weeks we exect to have the K-Pro system shipping with base maps for the Civic Si.

WIll the kpro ship with the greddy map, maybe an n20 map? anything like that? or just the base map?

And if its just the base map(s).... how are we going to be able to get new maps (without tuning) ... I mean, will we be able to trade maps with other users and download them, etc.?

Thanks,
Great work once again....

the graphs say flywheel hp and tq.

Were these really measured at the flywheel or were they done at the wheels?

Keep in mind guys/girls, that this was done with stock boost (6.5 psi)

It made 260 @ 8psi

oh hell, i might have to consider the greddy kit later down the road. Tuning for the a3 just keeps getting better.

Originally posted by Hondata It is a known fault of the Dynapack software that it prints flywheel HP. The figures are wheel HP.
The highlight colors of the power figures at the bottom have nothing to do with the power curve colors.

I ordered the reflash this week. Putting on the Greddy kit Tuesday through Thursday so I'm ready for the meet on Saturday.

Cannot wait to try the reflash out.

by ordering a reflash do u mean they're gonna give u a new ecu or do u have to send ur stock ecu and have them reflash it again??

oh and if i get the greddy kit with intercooler and bov will the new reflash be included?

sorrie for the newb questions im new at this turbo stuff

You have to send in the ECU as well as the emanage unit for Hondata to complete the reflash.

My ECU arrives today. Everything is on the car except for the ECU. Cannot wait to drive the car for the first time. :D

1) No, you send your ecu.

2)Since you said reflash not re-tune, I am assuming you meant Hondata. So to answer your Q, no, Hondata is a different facility than Greddy.

so that means i dont need the hondata to run on the greddy turbo and id be ok with just running on the emanage and the stock ecu right?

Correct, you dont need "hondata" BUT it will give you more HP.:)

Drove it home in the rain/snow. :'( Can't really gauge. Tomorrow it is suppose to be dry out, I can give you a better idea. So far, I'm really impressed. The EP has a lot more torque than I expected.

Stay tuned folks, dry pavement tomorrow means real driving.

Does anyone have a dyno for the Greddy w/IC and Hondata Greddy Reflash?
Don't forget to tell us what psi you are boosting;)

Yeah, I did. Then I even read it again for good measure. Nowhere do I see a dyno for the Greddy with the Intercooler and Greddy Hondata Reflash . I only see a post stating:

Keep in mind guys/girls, that this was done with stock boost (6.5 psi) It made 260 @ 8psi
Later on, you said:

Yes, my car got dynoed with an IC
Was that at 6.5psi or 8psi? Did you have the Greddy reflash also? Can we just see the dyno like I had originally asked? If you really don't want to show us, that's cool. I was just asking.

You know the dyno on the first page?

That was my car, the hondata unit was tested on my vehicle. Which it had an IC and was boosting 6.5psi, as I mentioned.

After doing some reading on hondata's site, I have a question. Hondata's turbo reflash is only if your happy with stock boost wich is around 6.5 psi. When installing the turbo kit + i/c, does the restrictor plate stay on to prevent from boosting high pressure?

ep_nezay
03-23-2004, 02:52 AM
No, it is still removed.
Having a boost controller would help, keeping settings at their limit.

I have already:)

http://www.teamstealthonline.com/images/edgar/edgar_ep01.jpg

Now, if you are talking about the strip, I did that too, I ran a 14.1 @100mph and a 2.4 60ft on street tires:confusem:
I should see high 13s on streets with a better 60ft.
But next time it will have slicks, like it WAS planned.
I should have a vid up next time I run it. It was a last min. event so I was not prepared.
