me and fcobra94 installed the magnaflow exhaust on my car, and its hot, u can tell the difference in handling between shifts, its not too loud, just nice, and you can tell the difference in hp. i really recommend this exhaust. free shipping, stainless steel, and lifetime warrenty, its a good buy. worth the money.

thx my greekrican friend

Yeah yo! No prob! It's def got that "wooo woooo!" :D

Yeah man, I was impressed. I was surprised how it actually made the car run smoother and how the car takes off from first easier than now than before.

Might have to place my order for one soon too :D hehe

yeah i heard people snaped off bolts and nuts too when they did this, but i take it they werent knowing that yes, the bolts and nuts are rusted, but its just oxidation, using air powered tools works best, we didnt have a prob getting any of the nuts off, it worked like a charm sorta, and the nuts and bolts were still good, remember my car is an 02 also so it looked like they were rusted out but everything was still good.

I love my magnaflow, hands down... If I were to buy an exhaust for the ep, it would be magnaflow every time. No complaints, and the sound is pure sweetness...

Congrats on the buy. You will enjoy for the rest of your cars life.
Its great onces its fully broken in. Cuz u can then cruise at 4500-5000 rpm and dont here it and just be like nice. The pick-up with it on is nicer the stock too. So you will love it.

Not trying to start a flame or anything, but, why would you buy a Magna Flow after the posts on here and clubrsx about how the Magna Flow is acctually really restrictive?

chibianh
03-07-2004, 08:51 AM
because a dyno of a friend's ep proved otherwise ;)

TravTrav
03-07-2004, 08:53 AM
magna flow is only restrictive to the rsx i believe, i work at an acura dealership and alot of integra's/rsx's its bad to do aftermarket parts sometimes, like the type r integra u shouldnt get an cai. =]

aye btw i will take pics today

Exactly! They're two totally diff exhaust systems.

After putting the stock EP and Magnaflow system next to each other, it is easy to see how the Magnaflow should easilly flow much better. The resonator has a straight through design and I doubt the muffler would be more restrictive than stock

Good exhaust system! So far it has been a little loud (after installing, we did set off a few car alarms on the first cruise :D) but hopefully it will quite down. If it doesn't drone at highway speeds after break in, I'll prob pick one up too.

What honestly surprised me most, wasn't just the increase in power, but hopw much smoother the car drove afterwards. It just made it much more easier to drive. I'm not sure why, but it's worth it just for that reason alone.

We'll work on getting a review up w/ pictures and all too :)

I think some peoples car alarms are just too sensitive... On my way to the top level of this garage I set off three car alarms...

I finally get it! In the local section, it says "MOVED:" in the title, which I did see before, but what I was looking at was only a link to the moved thread:o

Aren't all exhausts pretty much the same in term of power gains? I agree that the Magnaflow has the highest dyno results available, but the other companies don't seem to want to publish dyno's for the EP3 so it is hard to directly compare. In terms of the sound, I love the HKS Hi-Power. It has a nice deep tone compared to others. However, I am not too sure of the power gains. I have heard a few people say that the power gain in fairly noticable with the Magnaflow and I love the dual tip design.

haha! Get it now?

But yeah, I def want to hear the HKS before buying an exhaust system. Right now, I think it's between the HKS, Magnaflow, and maybe the Invidia.

What I'm looking for is something that doesn't drone on the highway and a system that only really gets loud when your on the throttle. I'm assuming the silencer inserts, the others offer, help w/ that...
