not much custom work

as for the paint not matching
look at your car roof next to your oem wing. . . or rear quarter to your rear bumper
will always be a "slight" shade off due to the difference in materials but honestly it matches perfectly in person :)

i am SUPER pleased

only thing i AM pissed at is there is a drip mark but tomorrow he is taking it back in to fix
and if not he will repaint the entire wing. . .

I just got my spoiler today and put it on. I'm going to call a body shop tomorrow and make an appointment for Saturday.

X, those modifications look real good. I have a question, did you have to get new bolts for the two holes in the center? Right now I'm use spare 10mm bolts where the mounted ones from the old spoiler sat.

I left one bolt out to run the brakelight wire through, it's fitting quite snug. Can't wait to have it painted and modded.

Also how much did you pay for the paint/shaving?

well when i did the test fit, i didn't even bolt it in the middle
i bolted the next set out
which would be the "plastic clips" on the oem one
than the outer bolts

i tried to move the wing a little
and its held it pretty good

I wanna see a pic with the LED on....sometimes aftermarket wings have cheap looking LEDs. I like all the colors to be the same. That wing looks really good though. I might buy it. I was gonna wait for Wings West to make a copy, but that looks just as good. How much was the wing again?

No. I thought maybe you had a pic of the underside of it before you installed it and you could show us what has to be modified. Or someone else may have a pic of what has to be modified.

WHERE can i find this spoiler for a reasonable price, besides on e-bay? I wonder if the euribuni spoiler is any good? has anyone tryed it? Also i came across some rip off spoiler at a shop a few days agoe. The LED cluster was in CLEAR plastic. Not red. And the guy said it was all JDM, The dumb ass forgot to take the "made in taiwan" sticker off the bottom (i shit you not) so i walked out of there. But i'm almost temped to go back, because i could have the rip off spoiler painted and installed for less than HALF of the price the civic type-r JDM spoiler is going for. Is there anyone out there who sells this spoiler besides Eurebuni?

This is Type X @ RBF351's computer

u WILL have to have the wing shaved to fit
as of yet NO fitment problems and it withstands speeds of 120+ as i found out last night on the highway with an RSX ;)

all the replicas u see are TYPE R looking so thast why u need to have them shaved

red lense looks nice and LED's are SUPER bright at night
the wing looks mint
i went to a local meet last night and got NOTHING but compliments on how clean it looks

NO RICE WINGS HERE :)

i dunno i wanted the authentic JDM CTR WING but i can't afford or justify spending 900 + $ to fit plus $ to paint. .. .that = too much $

this whole setup with paint fitting and shipping ran me WELL UNDER 450 and IMO is $ well spent :)
