These are the flow numbers from a used K24 head. We also flowed a band new K20A2 and the numbers were within 1% on the intake and about 2% on the exhaust. The ports are dimensionally the same. The exhaust on the K24 head was a little caboned up which is why the number are a little low.

We have not run one on an engine, although I suspect it will need cams to be effective. We will also be testing .5mm over valves.

from what i've heard, the K24 head is very similar to the K20A3 head. is this correct and can A3 owners expect similar flow numbers?

it seems your valve job and bowl blend does a good job.

So what does this mean performance-wise? better top end? any sacrifices in the lower rpms?

It just means you can flow more air. but you have to have cams to match, fuel to complement the additional flow, etc.

from the changes in flow #'s, it's a pretty mild porting job, so you wouldn't see any losses in the lower rpms, which is good.
