Just wondering if they are the same, they look alike in all the pictures I've seen. Thanks for the help

i think not (THINK) because the SPOON n-1 axel back has to have a custom midpipe to fit the USDM ep.. so im guessing that the JDM ep would have a slightly different exhaust system. i have absolutly nothing to back this theory up.. just using my limited reasoning..

Spoon n1 axle back is direct bolt on to usdm ep3.

also i think the difference in bpipe is due to the different headers off the other k motors the ctr features.. pretty sure the jdm and usdm spoon n1's are similar if not the same.

Usually anything that has CTR written on it......like our factory rear section does.......it is a CTR piece.

the muffler tips look different.....they are machinced aluminum duel pieces like the RSX-S single ones....ours are just stainless steel brushed tips...;)

Sheesh, that CTR one looks a LOT like the USDM Si's muffler & pipe.

And where's that post showing a dyno comparison between a stock Si's exhaust and a test pipe, and how there wasn't any difference worth mentioning?

the rear sections are the same, it's the b-pipe that's different on a USDM, that's because our we are burdened w/a close coupled cat right up against the header

thats not a type-r muffler.......type-r mufflers look like a twin outlet Type-s muffler....ours has the stainless steel tips, while the CTR has the brushed alumium tips....

It didn't come off my CTR then?

It is a Type-r muffler, its just the angle it's taken from and the fact that is dirty;)

I know, we'll have to go back to the dealer and find out what car we both actually bought as they obviously aren't CTR's

My car is right hand drive, Jontis's CTR is left hand drive as he is based in Sweden and I am in the UK. The whole of mainland Europe are LHD and the UK is RHD:)
