Type R shifter???

does anyone here know if the JDM type R shifter will fit the SI??

I know the knob and boot is pretty much universal with minor modifications but what about the shifter???

Shifter won't fit.
Why would you want to use that shifter anyways?
I want that shift knob though.

second that.....if thats a type-r shifter unit for the EP3, it should be a 6 speed.....plus, the shifter itslef looks NOTHING like ours...take your dash off and see for yourself..:D
