I just ordered my hks exhaust from showstoppers. I wanted to know how easy is it to install this exhaust? Also does it include a new catalatic converter?

Cool, you will love it. It is easy to install, don't be insulted by this. Yet do you have jack stands and a socket set. Also this cat-back will start after the cat. So no need to worry for a new cat.

Tools and Parts Required:
1. 12mm, 14mm ratchet and socket
2. Floor Jack and jack stands or an automotive lift
3. WD-40, for the lube

Step 1: Raise up and support the car and start by removing the stock muffler. You do this by removing the two 12mm bolts right in front of the suspension. Save all rubber hangers. Lube those hangers so it will slide out easy.

Tip: If you only have jack stands, raise up the right side of the car. This will give you the greatest level of access to the entire exhaust system.

Step 2: Remove the remained of the exhaust by removing the 14mm bolts at the cat or test pipe. These bolts are on pretty tight, so be prepared. Save all rubber hangers.

Step 3: Install the resonator onto the rubber hangers. You want to install this first to prevent the middle pipe from bending the cat or test pipe.

Step 4: Install the middle pipe to the resonator and to the cat or test pipe using the supplied gaskets and hardware. Do not tighten down the bolts, leave them a little lose to allow for future adjustment.

Step 5: Install the muffler using the supplied gasket and hardware.

Step 6: Now you tighten everything down as much as you can.

You can do it by yourself, yet please have a friend to help you hold the exhaust when placing and tightening.

Good luck

Jon

You have two jacking points on the sides for your car. If you look underneath the sides. You will see to folds that are out more than the rest. Those are the jacking points. Yet jack from the front, then place the jack stand under the points, then jack from the rear. Then place a jack stand under the other jack point. Please read the links above for a better idea.

Also if you need to check your car manual, and you will see pics for where the jacking points are.

Good luck
