who has had expeiriacne with them? I know they are THE BEST in data logging systems and tachomters!

I am looking in to the "basic" tach, that retails for $398.00

"The Stack ST400/430 series tachometers are the foundation of the Stack tachometer line - the best tachometers made for motorsports. Records 25 minutes of data which can be played back on the tach allowing you to review shift points, gearing, and maximum RPM around the track. Data analysis on a PC is available through the optional ST527 package (Windows 3.1, 95, 98, and ME only) and a ST546 timing system will add lap times to the information available to download. Stepped gauges concentrate unimportant RPMs in a small space and expand useful RPM range (0-4-10,500 shown)."

me too!!! i hate those huge ugly autometer tachs that you can see from a mile away!!! and have those gaudy shift lights uggggg....

i want to somehow make me a custom dash...since mugen STILL hasnt come out with theirs....

i have the 2002+ si manual so i know how to take it apart etc....

I want to somehow make a custom carbon surround and have other gauges as well in the carbon layout.....

I just cant see paying 3,500 for a dang dash kit from STACK...
insane price!!!

i might just go get the ctr gauge cluster and be over with it or just by the 80mm tach from STACK....and mount it SOMEWHERE...

I am going to do the headswap soon and type-s ecu, so i need a good tachometer to measure those revs!!!

..............ramble ramble ramble hhhahaha:confused:

If I were you, I would buy a piece of carbon fiber and put it where the cubby is under the radio, and buy a Razo shift light and put it in the carbon fiber and call it a day.

Something like the pic below, except with the razo shift light and your cubby..

No problem. They can make custom carbon anaything. You just need to send them some dementions and thickness and stuff.

woah, they make it for you? wow!!!

I would rather just purchase the weave material alon then make my own,.....my brother has a catalog for Aircraft specialty stuff, its call "Aircraft spruse and specialty" its liek 2000 pages of all kinds of stuff....they have the vacuum seal method of baking carbon fiber for sale. and numerous other products and techniques!

I am currently brainstorming and making drawing of what i awant my custom dash to look like!

It looks as though the dash is going to have to wait till the summer...I am going to buy a stock Si dash off of someone and then go from there, cutting out the stock tach and mounting and wiring in a Stack Tach...hehhehe

i will be keeping some of the waring lights and the speedo of course
