up hill?

if im' going on the highway like 60mph.. maybeup a 15-20deg ramp.. should i just cruise on 5th gear? or actually down it to 4th and cruise? which would be better??

I guess it depends on alot of factors like if the a/c is on, how many passengers you are carrying, etc...basically any extra strain on the engine. Under normal circumstances though our 5th gear is really good at pulling the car well - especially if you're already at 60 mph. My suggestion is unless you are trying to pass another car/truck just leave it in 5th and you'll be fine;)

just stay in 5th. I do. No problems getting up the hill.

i look at it this way if our engines build more toqure at 2500 rpm then why bother shifting DOWN. when your crusing. Un less you want to Rip your passangers head back just hang out in 5th.

I would probably cruise in 4th as it gives you just a little extra power if you need it, and you wont have to downshift if you have to slow down. Depends on traffic I guess...
