i was wondering what people thought of the skunk2 megapower cat back and what is the best price they have seem it for the cheapest i have seen is $479.99?

Well i live in louisiana and noone here gives a shit. and im originally from ft hood and there is a huge import scene there and yet again no restrictions on exhaust noises

As for what it's like, well I can't completely say, however, I have the Invidia catback, which is pretty much the same thing, and I love it. One warning though, without the silencer in, it's _LOUD_

ya, I always keep the silencer in, plus it dynoed with +10 lb wtq.

I bought mine a year ago at 492 shipped. It's worth it.

thats good to hear i think i will probably get this as soon as i scrounge the cash together. does anyone know how many decibles the exhaust gets at idle and peak?

couldn't tell ya what the decibel level of it is, but, here's (http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31903) a link to my member ride's thread, and down at the bottom I have a few movies that showcase what the Invidia sounds like. Again, the Invidia and the Skunk2 are pretty much the exact same thing, so the sound should be 99.9% the same. (Those movies are of course without the silencer in. When the silencer is in it calms the sound down a lot).

they're great rims. pretty nicely priced, a wide selection of colors (i love gunmetal :p), and a pretty simple, yet eye pleasing design. my only gripe is that they're slightly heavy (~19lbs i believe) but other than that i love em.

I have the skunk 2 and I really like it. However, it is a tad loud without the silencer at night.

My Invidia was loud after I installed it. If I turned on the AC or fan, it is louder. However, it is not as loud as before and sounds just nice. I like it.

ya mine was definately louder when i first installed it, and it does have a nicer tone since it's broken in, but i still say it's uber-loud. especially living in new hampshire where you can really hear how much it echo's :p

$440 is a good deal. That's over $100 less than what i payed. I love mine though. It is a tad loud, expecially at cruise. You have that drone exhaust tone in the cabin. But once you put the silencer in, it cures all the problems.

Have a look in the exhaust vid sticky at the top of the engine page and there is a link to my gallery which has some vid of the Skunk2 on my UKDM CTR which should give you an idea of how loud it is:D

Mine will be getting louder as its getting a straight mid-pipe removing the centre silencer:angel:
