Even leave your phone on our seats? Slides away in just one turn or stop. :)

I like that spot too, but I have bad luck with stuff leaping out of my car when i open the doors. :(

ive got the lg6000, maybe its a little smaller than yours, it never falls out. plus its the first thing i grab when i get outta the car, so no worries.

if i put it under the radio, it falls all the way to the back, and is a pain to get out. sometimes i just toss it in the passenger seat if i have my work clothes sitting there, that way i dont worry about it sliding away on a turn.

Yeah, I never considered under the radio for that reason. Figured it would be impossible to fish it out. :)

hey in the first pic you have what looks like a coin holder (somone correct me if i'm wrong) next to the cruise. Did that come with youre ep3? If so i'm guessing that i don't have that cuz mine is a Canadian model. By the way i leave my cell under the cup holder same as the first pic.

That's a JDM coin holder... http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=32666&highlight=ragebomb

the coin holder is a JDM item, not available on USDM SI's. You can buy it off ebay for like $10 or so.

EDIT ** EtherGhost beat me to it.

LOL. Yep, you caught me. I couldn't resist the call of the JDM. I mounted it where the cruise control button used to be (and moved the cruise control button towards the steering wheel), so I have actually found a way to make the cruise control indicator button light *even harder* to see! I rule!

LOL! I always have to lean over or up to see if the green button is on. Oh well though, I pretty much just leave it on always.

Usually when my phone is on the passenger seat, and I take a safe but distinct left turn, and the phone slides into the groove between the seat and the passenger door. If I take the turn hard enough, the phone will be easily retrievable if I reach under the passenger seat! Magic. :)

I'm liking where vtecnrg mounted his phone. Hmm, i could get some velcro action going... maybe i could mount it in the center of my steering wheel! hmm, better yet, i can get some red velcro, cut it in the shape of an H, and sell it as a Type R steering wheel on ebay!

Then when you get into an accident, you can have someone call 911 from the cell phone lodged in your head! lol, j/k

Heh heh. I guess having lambo doors is a great way to find out if your passengers are stashing trash in their door. My wife does that, sort of like a little animal saving up stuff for the winter. bits of trash, extra napkins from starbucks, little candies, and soiled little blue sheets women use to degrease their faces.

same here....i usually always have the case on my phone, and the part that clips on the belt kind of sticks in there so it doesnt rock or fall by my foot. :)

Mine is attached via a magnet dash kit that I purchased from the sprint store. I have done plenty of emergency stops and the phone stays put, it is very solid not to mention handy.

i have a lg 4400b and i keep it in it's belt holster on the visor. i dunno, im used to it there anymore. when im driving with the tunes blasting and someone calls, i can still see the phone light up. sometimes during the day, all the time at night. it's out of the way and i usually see it getting out of the car.

I keep mine in position one with some anti slip rubber mat cut to fit the little shelf which stops it sliding around:)

I use a Sony Ericsson P900 and it fits in there perfectly. It's now illegal to hold a phone while driving in the UK so pretty much everyone uses either wired handsfree or wireless handsfree.

I hang my bling-ring *lol* from the shifter... I have a little silver tether loop on it that I usually hang out of my pocket for quick access (I hate those stupid clips), and so I most often just loop it 'round the shifter. As it is a camera phone, it allows for easy access too when I happen to see something worth snapping on short notice.

that magnet mount thing: does the magnet stick to the dash or behind the dash? i think it would be cool if you could take the dash off, and stick a pretty powerful magnet behind it. then attach a magnet to the back of your cell phone, so then you could just stick it on there, and it would be pretty stealth when you didnt have your cell phone in the car. any ideas behind that at all?

would it take a really strong magnet for a motorola i90? its a pretty bulky phone. this could work well for those people with the lil bitty phones.

I leave my phone in location three, as long as I remember to take it out of my pocket. I hate trying to get the damn phone out of my pocket while I am driving. My big ghetto Nokia barely even fits in spot 3, but I always have to hook it up to the charger. I need a new phone... :D

might sound prety gay, but i dont care i like to listen to music really really loud all the time so if it rings there is no way i am gonna hear it. also if you are cornering or accelorating it wont fly out and go under the seat... :D ;)

try it sometime, ya might like it! :confusem: :smilem:

It's the Samsung i330 palm-phone thingy. It's a little large, but it's better than carrying a Palm AND a phone.

Me three! When someone calls, there's absolutely no doubt that it's the phone. And, honestly, I've let it ring another time or two just to prolong it...

I never hold the phone & talk while I'm driving, though. If I have to talk like that, I make the caller wait while I pull over into a parking lot or something. Otherwise, I just use an earbud/mic setup, and I feel like I'm having a conversation with a passenger in the car.

I didn't read thru all the pages but the BEST spot, if you have speakerphone is to clip it on the moonroof cover. That way its about 6" from your ears and mouth.

I keep mine in the same location as Dobbs keeps his, alongside the parking brake handle. Except for me, I have a little LED flashlight in there too for emergencies, and the phone sits on top of that, that way the phone is easier to grab, and yet still out of the way. I don't seem to have any trouble hearing it, but then again, I'm sure I don't have the loudest audio system here either.

If I remember to take mine out of my pocket, I either throw it on the passenger seat or under the e-brake. I hate it when the phone slides between the passenger door and the seat, but I still keep putting it there. Sometimes the hinge on the seat stops it, but others it just slams into the door and falls in the crevase.
