sorry if this is in the wrong section but...

what alarm system do you guys recommend, i was looking into the alpine system, it seems like a decent system, what do you guys think, and if it isnt good, are there any other systems you recommend, thanks

Whatever you do don't bother getting the Clifford Matrix RS III with responder (pager) technology. They advertise a range of up to 1/4 mile, but it's not even 1/4 of that!!! I got it installed two days ago and this thing's pathetic.

How useful is a pager alarm if it can't receive pages?!?!?!?!?

I just spent a butt load of money I didn't have to. HOW LAME. If I was going to do it all over I would spend an extra $200 and go with the compustar 1.25 mile range pager remote.
