Is the paint two layers? Color then clearcoat? Or is it all in one like the touch up paint?

Base-coat. Clear-coat.

Bob is right you need the Base paint and the right laquer or clear coat otherwise the paint will look a matte colour and there will be no shine after polishing.
Are you spraying something?

Nope, was just watching Spike TV and they were wet sanding a 10 year old car. Just planning ahead for the EP ;)
Although I do have a spots I wouldn't mind getting touched up when I go to the body shop, but nothing is bad enough to warrant paying now in the event that something terrible happens in the future, yknow.

Yeah, except it's irritating to watch because of that brunette broad.
I mean she is reading off a cue card, its monotone, and not even something to get excited over. She needs to go. Get a real actress.
aj, i tried to hit u up on sat night. I saw you called back the next day but my ass was out like a light.
