I got one of these at Toy's R Us like a month ago. They also have it in Gold. It has some pretty nasty looking stickers all over when you first buy it. Runs fast, but has no suspension whatsoever. Anything over about 1/16 of an inch tall will eat the front end up pretty bad. :-)

I already drilled the holes in the front air dams out on mine and added yellow led fog lights. I also took the nasty ass bulbs out of the headlights, which only light up when you are actually giving it juice, and replaced those with white leds and a switch so they remain on. Fun stuff.

well just got done taking mine apart. its ready for prep and paint. i gotta say this little thing is fast!! i tried it out for about 10 min before it started running out of juice. it will be great once i have it all painted. i will post more pics when i am done. if you love the ep you gotta get one of these!

I am going to paint the rims a bronze color later down the road. I have future plans for getting more r/c ep's and making a spoon ep color scheme and a mugen ep color scheme and a BTCC ep. I will make it so they all run on different frequencies so they can be in a mini ep race!

As soon as I seen this thread I went and got one for myself. When I seen it in the box I thought it lookes kinda cheezy compared to the pics I seen but I ripped off all the graphics and I lowered it as much as possible without ruining the ride buy trimming the body mounts. It was easy. I didn't lik the taillights so I blackened them, It looks pretty tight. I tried wiring the headlights (like one of you said you did) to the battery just pass the switch but I guess it needs the generator to keep them going. I'm thinking about painting it silver like my real ep, and putting putty in the antenna hole on the roof, but I don't know if I'm gonna. I did little details too, like on the disc brakes which needed it. I'll post pics soon.

I was thinking of putting red street glow lights for show but don't know if it'll work.

How are you guys replacing the lights???

And how do I keep them on all the time instead of only when I accelerate it???

You can find a wire that is constantly gettign power from the battery by using a multimeter. Or connect a wire straight to the battery, but run one of the wires to the on/off switch so that they turn off when the car does.

can you fit the ep body on top of your other r/c chassis? i would like to see if you can fit the ep body over a gas powered r/c chassis.

Don't bother wiring the headlights to the battery pack, they will drain your battery faster. I bought a battery box and switch from radio shack and made my own. You can mount the switch and battery box wherever you like. Just make sure you can actually get to it without removing the body. It was very easy to wire up the battery box and 4 leds(2 white for the headlights and 2 yellow for fog lights). For everything to rework the headlights I spent about 7 bucks. Now I can switch the lights on and they stay on instead of just when you give it juice. I am at work right now, but if you need teh part number for the battery box and switch let me know. You should be able to find them at any radio shack.

I just got myself one too!! looked better in the pics, didn't realize the controller was only 1 speed forward and reverse, and doesn't have proportional steering, kinda sucks and says 4-5 hours to recharge the battery!!! Saw a yellow one at the store, but looked more orange... and those nikko bastards gave me a dead 9volt battery for my controller. ready to run my arse!

Bought myself a grayish-black one the night before last... haven't had the chance to really play with it yet, let alone tinker, but the stickers are definitely coming off soon, and I might see if I can find a more powerful motor for it somewhere... anyone know what size it is? The parts list in the box is of little help...
