For the record, I've searched but most of the pics have been taken down. Please post pics of your HIDs with
1. Brand
2. Color Temp
3. Where you got it and how much you paid
4. Dual beam?

I'm about to buy from www.superhids.com
Their price is $495 shipped for 6000K dual beam.
Anyone have any experience with them?
I might go for the 5300K but I'd like to see some pics to compare.

Also, I've read some posts about using a deflector to correct the beam pattern. Is this necessary?

Has anyone ran into problems with the beam pattern?
Or does it just plug right in and you're ready to go?

HEY I-WERKS, you should check out HIDFORUM.COM, they have great info on HID's. I have the kit from http://www.hidkits.com , i bought it used, 4250K H4 hi/low kit, it's comparable to my friends CATZ 5300k system in intensity. BTW, I had to make a relay system up to wire them in, they say plug and play, but or honda runs on a ground system, which is not compatible with most HID hi/low system, works great with just low system, but not hi/low!!!! Plus you will have to disable the DRL (just pull the 7.5 amp fuse for the DRL light in the fuse box under dash)

I posted the relay system in the HOW TO section of this board.

give me shout anytime if you need help with the install.

Thanks for the link. After reading it up on HIDFORUM.com it seems that there's a lot of problems with HIDs. Especially the Hi/low kit. I called Speedstar and they actually stopped selling the hi/low kit because the high beam would stop working after a while. A lot of people on that forum say that you'll run into problems, it's just a matter of time.

This thread tipped the scale for me

So I've decided not to go with HIDs and go for Sound proofing and maybe some OEM fog lights.

Thanks for the info.
