Anyone know the weight of 2004 Si 16" wheels or wheels & tires?
There's a set on eBay right now for $150 that ends in like 40 mins, Might buy them if they're not extremely heavy.

Can someone help.....quickly?

EDIT: If someone's got 5-10 mins to remove a wheel/tire and throw it on a bathroom scale, I'll send you a free steering wheel "H" in your choice of red, cf, white or blue. :D

They are VERY heavy about 22 lbs per wheel. If I can find a reliable source. I will let you know. They look good IMO.

It can vouch for that weight. I've had my wheels off, and they are about 20lbs plus a piece. That's with tire of course

Well stock 15" wheels & tires are just under 39 lbs each.
What I'm looking for is someone who has weighed either:
(a) 2004 16" wheels
(b) 2004 16" wheels & tires

Thanks!
Adam

edit: 43.6 lbs. is the weight with tire. Imagestation rarely works, I removed the link and the red "x".

Honda does not realize weight reduction is the key to performance. Why would Honda put bigger and heavier wheels on the same 160hp powerplant, especially when the 02-03 Si did not sell well?

Thanks bro, I really appreciate it.
I know you said you didn't want the decal but if you change your mind just PM me your address.

Wow I thought they'd be heavier. Stock 15's w/ tires are 38.8 lbs.
4 lbs heavier overall for a 16x6.5 vs. 15x6 and a tire thats got a larger overall width/height...not TOO bad.

Have you driven your car with lightweight rims yet? From experience, going from my winters (at 33.5 lbs) to the stockies (at 39lb ... 5.5 heavier) ... there is a huuuge difference.

Since the 16"s are 4 lbs heavier .... and the weight is further from the center of rotation, you will definately feel it. But hey ... for $150, what the heck ... they look nice :)

... did you end up getting them?

yes, i had ADR C-PRO's that weighed 13 lbs each, and personally did not notice a difference over the stockies at the track.

the only difference was i put Azenis on the C-PRO's so traction was little better.

i'll probably have a pair of light wheels and drag radials or slicks (if they ever make them in a 16" that'll fit my car) for competition purposes anyway.
