I've got a good deal I can take on some 17" motegi MR12's. Only problem is they are 17x7.5 with a 42mm offset. Are these too wide? What tires can I put on them and not have them rub? I'd like either 205-45/17 or 215-45/17 since they are close to the stock speedometer calibration. I'm at stock ride height right now but should be lowered on progress springs (1.5"?) in about 2 weeks.

get the 215 45 17, i have 7.5x17" rota's and that's my tire size, 205's would not fill the rim up enough. your speedo will read 1.5 mph slow at 60 mph no biggy....

215/45/17 tire size is recommanded.
I am currently running 215/45/17 with 17X7. Offset 43..
No rubbing with Tein s tech springs.
