found a site that has wheel weights. pretty nice info....even has 02 type r rims saying they weigh 20.2 lbs! nasty!

sorry, but that's too heavy to me. Maybe 18 at the most, but that's it

True that's pretty light for 17, and the fact that they're factory.

As a matter of a fact, if those web site numbers are correct, you will see that a 17 wheel from a M3, forged wheel weights 20 lbs. Which means 17 for a cast factory wheel is not that bad.

Or you can get a set of forged alloy SSR competition that are really light, but the problem with that is if you drive over a pebble you will bend them. I tell you this based on experience. That's the problem that you face with really light weight forged wheels.

that's why I'd get 16's, more rubber on the tire
