I am looking at the 16x7 Rota Subzero or Circuit 8 or 10 wheels for my EP.
The Rota

For the money, how can you go wrong? Obviously, the Mugens will be of a better build quality.

I know 3 other EP'ers in the area who have Rota's and love them. I ended up ordering some Grids myself :)

rotas are great b/c if you get some curb damage you dont break the bank buying another wheel...where as if you buy real mugens and you get some curb rash or what ever the cost for one mugen will be close to the cost for a set of rotas..my .02

I'd have to agree with these guys...
quality is good
price is great
lots of choices of styles, colors and sizes
and lightweight
Great wheels if you ask me.
And I should know, I had a set of C8's on my old Civic :D

Edit: Check out Machiii.net or Jaydm.com for great deals on Rotas and good wheel/tire packages. You can also call up your local Discount Tire. They will usually cut you a good deal and mount everything up before you get there for the install. :D

Thanks guys.
I wonder if you can fit the Mugen center caps on the C8 or C10's.

Ok, now I know for a fact the Mugen stuff is way overpriced.
Mugen MF8/MF10 Center Cap Set - $120.00

That is more then the cost of one ROTA Rim.
Now that is just bs, you can't tell me the piece of machined aluminum cost even $15.00 to make. hmmm maybe the blue paint adds 40 whp to any vechile that has them on.
It almost makes me reconsider buying the mugen suspension.

if i were to go rota id have to say the c10s in bronze or sports bronze, attacks in gunmetal w/ polished lip, or same simple slips in flat black. but if i were a 4 lug it would be c8s no questions asked.

I really like my C8s! :) Next wheel purchase will be C10s for daily driving and I will reserve my C8s for Autocross events only.

Finally some good pictures of the rims. I will have to talk with him.
I really like the C10's the more I look at them and especially after seeing them on TypeX's EP3.
I have a silver EP so I will probably go with the C10's steel gray or steel gray with polished lip.

man don't be a poser. if you got Rota's rock em! i have some C-8's and they've stood up to track days and to daily driving. 15k miles on them and theyre still fine as ever. Rota's are really the best bang for the buck and you don't really need to worry too much about them getting bent or nicked up.

if not the Rota's i really like the Kosei K1, a little bit more than the Rota's but, I think, a little better quality.

I was actually gonna pick some c8's up this weekend. I'm just stuck on what tires to get... gonna go with a 205/45, but the brands are killin me. Everyone has a different opinion.

I am planning on getting Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 205/50/16 or 205/55/16.
The treadwear on em are really good and the performance ratings are really good.
They are around $124.00 a piece, but I think they are worth it.
