Newbie here...

Is the HFP option worth it, or would it be more cost-effective to do those mods myself????

thanks in advance

I would say no, cause of price alone. And moved to aero :)

nope..cost a grip after install..save your money and either get the usdm mugen lip kit from showstoppers or get the OEM JDM CTR kit...in either event i think youll end out on top with some money saved

it depends what you want from your car, if you want something extreme and/or affordable the HFP is not for you, If you want something stylish and reliable the HFP is a good option, yes it's $4000+ install but all parts have OEM honda quality and fitment and retain your factory warrenty, it's not that bad of a price

if you were to buy the upgrades aftermarket:
17" wheels $600
4 yoko es-100 225/45/17 $450
mount&balance $60
USDM replica CTR body kit & CTR spoiler $800
paint & install $700
mugan sport suspension $1000
install $200
alignment$75
shift knob/CF dash kit/engine cover $225

aftermarket -> $4110 total installed(est.)

HFP -> $5000 installed

do you know if Honda will offer a retrofit option??? What I guess i'm asking is do the dealers put the HFP together, or is it truly a factory set-up?

The reason I ask is that i have a friend who works in the parts department of a honda dealer and could probably get the parts down the road.

the only part buying on the HFP is the wing it comes with everything u need to mount it. All the double sided tape and fits perfect. But if you don't like that look aftermarket all the way.

LOL I read that ALL wrong. Oh well. I still think the HFP is a good deal if you can get a good price on it. I think if I bought an EP at MSRP I could get them to throw that in there.
