WOW! you must want to go deaf really fast! the 12" type r sub in a sealed box is SUPERRRRRRRRRRR CLEAN. VERY VERY VERY VERY (can't emphazise this enough) TIGHT bass. even though a ported/bandpass box would be much louder...the sealed box provided tight ass. you can hear it coming...when my car is in my garage and i turn it up...my headunit goes to 35 i believe, and at 23/24 it's WAY loud. at 23/24 and i'm upstairs...the frames in my room are vibrating. Although to get this effect, you have to open at least one door or open the hatch if you want a really bitching effect. And this is all off one 12" sub. Also, the alpine amp is an AWESOME amp...NEVER shuts down...just keeps bumping...never has it overheated on me...even with constant hours of bumping the system while with 100+ weather outside. It's a MRD-500 V12 amp which pushes out 500 watts continueous and 900watts at 14.4V (like when your driving on the freeway)
