Weight reduction seems pretty useless to me unless its purely a track car. the general rule of thumb is .1 less in the 1/4 mile for every 125lbs you remove. take out back seat, passenger seat, interior panels and anything else you can think of, and youll shave MAYBE .3 of a second in the 1/4. and runs the function of the daily driver.

i never use the back seats anyway. nemesisitr shaved something like 80-85 lbs just by removing the seats alone.....hell i already weigh about 80 lbs less than the average male driver.

I'm thinking about doing it and keeping it carpeted. store the seats. The only thing is, I feel like this will be an all-or-nothing mod. It won't be worth the hassle for just the seats, and i don't want to remove everything. I'm torn.

Haha this is funny...it did it to me on another post...I was like the 9th post and it knocked me up to like 2nd! Oh yeah and on the weight reduction...if you race on the track and stuff...just pull your spare tire out and stuff b4 you run it or somthing!
