Hi all,
does anyone have HIDs in your car? How does it look? Is there alot of spray or is the output pattern pretty even?
I'm considering getting hid-online.com's HID conversion kit. Particularly, I have JDM headlights, which does not have the shield to cover the headlight bulb, so I'm unsure if HIDs would be too bright for oncoming traffic. Although our halogen bulbs and the HID bulbs both have the front tip of the bulb blocked by some sort of gray/black coating, I'm not sure if the HIDs will spray upward, making it look more like high beams all the time. Interestingly, comparing my USDM headlight and the JDM headlight output using the identical factory bulbs, the output from the JDM headlights appear to be more even (without hotspots) and more concentrated (apparently brighter). Any suggestions?
Thanks!
