Man... guess what guys.. they didn't steal my antenna by unscrewing it off, they broke it off!! I just realized 2 days ago that the threaded bolt part is broken and stuck in the base. ARRRGGGGHHHHH :mad: :mad: :mad:

When I go to a really questionable neighborhood with the EP, I'll unscrew mine in the parking lot (or where ever I'm parked) and either lock it up in the car or put it in my coat pocket. My dealer even warned me when I bought the car that these antennas are popular items to steal. I'm sure the dealer gets an arm and a leg for a new one...

I thought about the Lock Tite idea too, but if a theif really wanted that antenna, they might either break the threaded part off in the base or really screw up the roof of the car when yanking on it...

When I bought my car (nov. 02) all the Si's were missing their antenna's. I asked the salesman where mine was and he said they were all stolen off the lot along with some wheels. They had to order mine and ship it to me. I think they cost $30 from the dealer.

hey i have an idea why not just jack it off some other guy than eventually it'll go down the chain.

for example: racer x takes your antenna then racer y steals an antenna from racer Z's si/is300/gti but racer Z was only test driving it from the dealership and so racer Z has to take it back to the dealer and they'll fix it and then tadaa only the dealer would suffer and maybe racer Z.

or just go to a dealer and swipe one from the lot HAR.

...then again the only thing that has gotten stolen from my car are the tire pressure caps on my wheels.
