I'm planning on getting the Mugen suspension pretty soon but I don't really want to do the install myself. Has anyone had this done by a shop and if so how much did it cost?

It was $150 for mine, took him 45 minutes. Probably could have gotten it cheaper, and it looked pretty damn easy.

Don't pay more than $150.

Thanks guys, there is a shop in my area that only works on Honda's and Acura's. I'm gonna give them a call Monday and find out what they want to do the job. I think all of their tech's use to work for Honda.

I paid 160 plus tax and it seemed like a good price. A 'Friend' wanted to charge me 220. I told him that instead we should get together to smoke whatever he's smoking. Then the alignmnet was free because it was still under warranty through Merchants. I was going to do myself at my dad's shop, but he has all of his tools in different places and I couldn't find the right sockets; so I got upset and paid some one else to do it.

I can do it for you at my place. The only prob is that I'm about 1.5hrs away from you. I live just north of the Hollywood area.

do it yourself and save some cash and learn about your car. find somebody that has the shop manual and it has step by step instructions on anything you would want to take off your car.

Me and my friend did mine. It only took us about 1.5 hours. The only thing I had to pay for was the alignment.

Id recommend DIY and save the money for camber kit and alignment...I took a whole day to do the JICs, but now I could do the whole thing in 2, or less with a lift.

You'll learn alot about the car and the suspension, and (with all our good advice) you wont tear you tie-rod boot, and you wont pop your axle out.

Honestly, I dont trust any shops...people are shitbirds.
