My e-brake button is chipping!

I was driving around today, and i usually rest my hand on the e brake and i noticed there was a ruff spot on it. I looked down and saw the crome was chipping! wtf!, is there anyway i can fix it or keep it from doing it more?

Its funny I come here and see that this is the first post I see. I noticed mine doing the exact same thing. I'm sure that little piece isn't too expensive though. If it starts getting on my nerves too much I'll do something about it.

mine was chipping almost right when i started using it. i went to honda and they'll fix it. if you're under warrenty...thank god i have 60k warrenty...i can come in for whatever...it's just waiting there is a biznatch

mine started chipping like a few days after i got it...didn't think nothin of it..but hey, if they will replace it under warranty then yay...

mine chiped and my the dealer fixed it for me under warantee.. its good as new now

Yeah mine started to chip a few months after I got it. (Got car in Sept '02) but yeah I don't really care about it. It isn't a really big deal to me.

yeah honda will fix it but to fix it they have to replace the whole E-brake!!! It was on national backorder when I got it fixed so it took a couple of weeks.... Oh well fixed now...
