Opinions on the new Toyo Proxes 4 tires? How do they compare to Kumho 712's and Yokohama ES100's? Thinking of getting them for some 16" Rota's. Thanks!

I put a couple of thousand miles on the Proxes 4 on a Maxima and was VERY impressed. The sidewalls felt stiffer than the Ecsta 712s. My experience with the Kumhos is that they are pretty decent when new, but performance drops quickly with the miles. The Proxes still looked and performed as new after about 5k miles. I have no doubt that I would choose them again over the Kumhos, especially since the prices arent that much different.

Anyone have a pic of the TOyo "4". I'm curious about what they look like. Tread rating? I dig Toyos and haven't needed tires for a while so I've missed out on the "4".

toyo proxes 4 suck...not really grippy at all on dry road...i had them and all I could say was they were decent for the wet weather...if your getting toyo proxes, get thier other style that is an up step to the proxes 4

I'm riding on the g-force sports right now...so far, they are way better than the proxes 4...Really good tires for dd and sprint driving...they grip pretty well in dry and wet roads...
