That is highway robbery! Hopefully they will come down to the $400 range. Whoever buys them at that price either has too much money or is just plain stupid.

Willing to bet there HID as well, for $850 on Ebay. if not, Fizz Autosports told me that they can get '04 JDM CTR headlights for like $500 for non-HID. from what i understand is that, '04 JDM projector lights won't work for US spec cars, because of LHD/RHD issues. JDM's are designed for RHD cars.

From what I can see on the back side entry for the bulbs. Those are NON-HID. Thats WAAAAYYY to much for those headlamps. Save your money;)

I was hoping that these would have an angle eye style ring too. Depends, need to see them on an ep too.
For $300 = Nice!
For $800 = Ehh I'll pass.

Would you be able to let us know what type of bulbs that housing takes?

Mine aren't HID. The low beam is H1, high is HB3 and you got the small W5W wedge bulb at the top (you can just about make out the quad LED ones in mine in pic1).

do those projectors fit the 02-03 si? seems like they are only for the 04 si. how big of a headage is it to get those to work with the 02-03 si? anyone know? thanx

Word is that you'll be looking at spending a grand for the new housings AND a harness replacement to run the multiple-bulb setup.

There's gotta be an easier way to run the new bulbs, but I haven't heard of it yet. I'm sure it'll happen, though.

**EDIT***

I was talking about the USDM '04 Si headlights being fitted onto an 02-03 Si. Don't know about the '04 UK CTR projectors, but if the '04 Si lights cost that much, I'm sure the CTR would be quite a bit more. That's not very helpful, I know.

just to give you guys some perspective...

RHD JDM projectors for subarus are $750-850, non-hid... the hids will cost you 1500 or more.

the left hand drive issue isn't a question of whether or not they will work, it's a question of whether or not you'll blind oncoming motorists. LHD headlights have a beam pattern like this-

.......................______________
....................../
____________/ *tEh bRigHtneZ*

RHD headlights are opposite

____________
.....................\
.*oH NoS!........\______________________

Thank you Captain Obvious. There are a number of countries that are LHD that you can get the HID projectors from. No worries about blinding other drivers.

emosubaru

yes but often those countries have lower production numbers, which sometimes makes LHD hid proj more expensive.

i just wanted to use the phrase "oh noes, we r teh blinded" in a post.

OK no offense projectors look cool i give them that but i have had projectors on past sport compact cars and they are JUNK ur visibility goes down and half the time they arent aligned right so ur beam of light isnt int he direction you need it to go. PLus usually u have to do some cutting to make them fit....my 2 cents thats all

If you want to see how those projectors really look click on this link too see one sick representation no photochop.
http://www.japanmotorimport.com./
these projectors look sick!

In the picture you can even see how the type-r has blinkers on the rear views they look incredible wish we had them. These projectors would look sick on our car and it blows that we can't have the front end in that picture look how sweet the fing front end is and how flawless the rims and suspension mesh together for a perfect look. It drives me crazy

We want the type-r
We want the type-r
We want the type-r
We want the type-r
or something alot better then what we are given

Fizz has the 04 in stock they are $550 for the non HID. Projecters will work as the lhd/rhd is not as apparent on a projector because the beam is more concentrated. The 02-03 WRXs almost all have the Projector JDM headlights and there are no complaints.
