I do need a new BOV but thats a long story its leaking boost at about 1 lb not too bad but I need to replace it asap. I just wanna say thank you to esmith13, EP_Nezay, D16Y8_Turbo, and ricecooker for all the help! You guys made this a lot easier so thank you again. I love the kit and I can't wait to get a new BOV!
Thanks,
Steve O

does installing it yourself void your greddy warranty?

Hey Steve is it true that the IC Greddy kit doesn't come with pipes? Please let me know if you know.

I am very interested in a 0-60 time. What are you hitting with no ic? And did you get the BOV fixed, i.e. are your times off by 1lb of boost because fo the flange stuff you mentioned earlier.

Thanks!

ok the bov story :'(
Basicly long story short i didn't know how to adjust it properly and I stripped out the screw on the top. So basicly I can hit 6.5-7lbs of boost but if i am not it for a little i will lose about 1lb of boost i can accually hear it seep out kind of sucks. I have ordered a new bov just waiting for it to come it.

0-60 is freaking awesome my only real complait is before this i had hondata and really miss it. This turbo spools so quick in 1st and 2nd gear that i hit the rev limiter before i can react sometimes its crazy. I think the thing i love the most is tooling down the road at like 35mph in 2nd slamming the gas and my tires break loose and im gone. I have no complaints at all. I really don't boost too too much but when i do its all :D if you know what i mean. I think the best part of all is at like 65mph or so in 5th just pressing the gas and your are flying so quick no more down shifting or any of the high rev shifting like a always did before to merge on the highway to get going with trafic. I LOVE IT!!!!
I just want an intercooler so I can get my Hondata back lol !!!!

Congrats on the turbo. As for the BOV, I think I can get you one tomorrow but don't hold me to it. I'd love to see your ride and show you mine, I'm getting it finished tomorrow with the new stage-3 clutch and phantom grip.
If the BOV is striped then see if you can close the flange with a plate of some sort to hold you over because you don't need it.

Took it out for it's maiden voyage lastnight and I got to say- it's night and day. I raced a guy who has a 1.8 ls w/ v-tec head and pistons, rods, pullies and some other shit and everyone was banking on him and I jumped him 2 car lenghts right off the line, due to a great launch w/ almost no spin.
I now have a 6-puck competition clutch and the phantom grip LSD riding on 225-45-17 azenis, low 13's here I come!

I was going to go this weekend but I just ripped my cv shaft boot on the primary side due to the outside clamp coming loose on the spline. I am going to play with it a little today and see if holds up seeing how I replaced the boot but kept the clamp. I'll be getting on it a little at a time and checking as I go, while I wait for heavier shafts. If every thing holds up I'll be at the track next weekend.

Any steps that were a real pain to do? and any tips that would make it easier if you were to do the install again.

OK guys the Rev Hard I/C is in took a little longer than I expected but its done!!
No my question is do I go with the Hondata tune?
Or up the boost 7lbs is just not enough lol!?!
Can I do both?
Ohhh and if I were to up the boost do I need a boost controler? If I do how hard is a greddy boost controler to hook up? Does it connect to the e-man?
Yhank you,
Steve O

i would get the kpro but thats a lot of $ for hondata I would rather get the greddy tune just wondering about the amount of boost it can take.
