well it all depends if you want to go FI or N/A.

In order for you to get there N/A, you're going to have to swap for the k20a2 and work on that great platform for a N/A car.

FI, I'm pretty sure any turbo kit will probably get you near 12's.

Like they said, going NA will cost you a Pretty lil penny. The toda package which is like more then 2g's could get you close AFTER the a2 or k20a swap. So either way it more then $3000 FI or NA. Its up to you of course.

P-n-P the head, sleeve the block, new cams, Titanium Nitrate coating on key components, new camshafts, all your regular bolt-ons, run 12-18psi of boost and you should just about be there...Oh yeah, put the fat lady on a diet and try to drop about 300-500lbs (balanced).

I believe that's close to the $8-10k range already.

I hit 12 seconds all the time, and I'm almost stock. Gotta love the 12 second 1/8 mile runs. :D

FI would be the quickest/easiest/cheapest way.

If you want a 12sec. street car - forget slicks. Without slicks my best guess would be:

Turbo kit using TINY turbine (preferably ball bearing upgraded) like the greddy 60-1 with intercooler running @ Stage II ~18psi.

lightweight rims in 15 or 16" with VERY good tires (Dunlops or Falkens)

Pistons and rods for the engine to run 18psi.

Electronic Boost controller to regulate the wastegate to help make boost in a more linear fashion so traction is slightly less of a problem.

Exhaust for higher flow.

CM or ACT Stage IV Clutch Kit for RSX-S and RSX-S Stock Flywheel

LSD would make the launch easier, but not needed if you have skillz.

DRIVING SKILLZ. (If you don't learn how to drive a FI car from a dig you will NEVER hit 12s. The higher the car's WHP the more you NEED the skillz - not the other way around)

Near the end of this month we should be having a 1/4 mile showdown between a JRSC DC5 with K-pro upgrade, a Turbo CTR with approx 300-320hp, and JDM CTR and a JRSC CTR and maybe a full Toda equipped CTR.

Hopefully i'll get some vids of the whoe,things and we should se some 12sec times then. You can then see which of these setups is the quickest:D

Was that his fastest? On that thread it was stated that a white EP3 ran 12.3@108. If so, that's almost hitting 11s like the Cybernation RSX. Or did that RSX hit faster times now?

my guess is that the full toda equipped ctr will win...only cuz the boosted ones wont get traction..
