Ah well. I was talking to the parts manager at my local Honda dealership and was asking about the HFP body kit. He wasn't sure if the kit would fit on the earlier EP3s, so he did a little research for me and talked to the engineers at Honda NA. Apparently they changed the bumper shapes slightly in the 04's, so the kit will not fit correctly on the earlier models. They said that the only part that would swap straight across is the wing.

I have 04 skirts. Fits great... holes under the car for the clips even line up ... same as HFP holes ...

the only changes between the 02-03 vs the 04 is the 5-bolt " wheels brakes..etc. " the head & rear lights thats it.

wasnt the HFP kit originally sold for a few months before the 04 was available? the GFX kit in Canada certainly was.

I call BS on that one too, there is a guy on this forum with the front lip HFP on his 2002 Si....I have a video with it on his car!

the dealer sounds like they just dont want to fool with it...

Yeah, hes either misinformed, or doesnt want to do it... but that's strange, since its a high-markup sale.

I believe it's DavidT with the hfp front lip on his 02-03. Fits fine. Honda dealers are the devil.

When i first went to look at an RSX-S back in 01 they said it had a detuned s2000 engine in it. Dealers know jack shit about cars.

This is incorrect.

The part number is the same for the bumpers from 02-04.

I'll have to agree with the fact that the dealers don't know shit. I argued with a parts manager for about 30 minutes about whether or not an OEM 99-00 Si Grill and Bezel would fit on my 99 4 Door LX Civic. Needless to say, I went back about 2 weeks later after I won an ebay auction and installed it and showed him what was up.
Assholes.

Well...that's good to know
I should change my statement to ..."That guy I argued with was a dumbass."
Heh.
I realize that was a blanket statement but I was angry, am still angry at that guy. Heh.
