My friend stuck a metal wire in the cig lighter the other day and blew the fuse. So I swapped out the fuse and I just noticed that when I turn off the EP and I'm playing a CD, that the stock headunit will stay on anywhere from 5-10 seconds after I've removed the key. It never did it before I had to change the cig lighter fuse.

Anybody know whats up with that? Thanks.

:)

this may be a stupid question but did you use the same fuse?

HMmmm....That's just weird. I can't think of a reason.

Are all your radio settings still the same or do they reset every time you fire up the EP?

you should turn off all your accessories before you turn the car off to help save your alternator anyways. you also get better starts.

The settings are the same all the time. Its weird. My former car had a feature where the headunit would stay on 10 mins after the engine was off for security reasons or something, but with the Ep, its just weird. Thanks anyways, guyz!

My '99 Odyssey has been doing the same thing for about the last 6 months. Must be a virus going around.
