Comptech Strut Bar with AEM V2 intake

Has anyone tried to put a comptech Titanium strut bar with a V2 yet? When I put it on the intake and the bar rub, so im going to put a smaller spacer on the intake to lower it a lil bit. Nothing bad will happen if the intake and strutbar touch a little, will it?

I installed the strutbar the other day and it is fine, it does rub the intake some, so i took some rubber hose and put it where it was making contact and clamped it down with plastic ties. If you run into this problem, try this...it stops the noise and actually looks like it was meant to have the rubber on it. It may not be the best looking thing ever, but it's functional...and that's all that matters in the long run.
