Where do you all shift when you want to accelerate hard from a stop light? like, for how long do you hold 1st gear, and then 2nd?

and what does gear ratios mean? anyways, i'ts recommended to shift every time the tach hits 3200 rpm but do you all hold it longer?

for maximum acceleration, shift at redline

so you're saying to stay in 1st gear until redline? and then once i hit redline won't my speed be too fast to shift it in 2nd? maybe 4th of 5th?

no the speed won't be too fast. shift 1st,2nd, 3rd in redline, and into 5th, then just cruise because you're in victory lane.
sometimes i do miss the B-series,but i goes more low end torque is good.:'(

when do you all drop your clutch off the line? i hear somewhere from 1800 to 2000 is good for a healthy chirp, any thoughts?

4G holy burnt rubber batman! I slipped the clutch out at 3,200 and still got a little more chirp than I like for a good launch, your 60' must leave something to be desired (only saying this as it applys to our cars with no FI and no others)
