comptech looks stock and it i think its better... but it costs so much more, dunno if it's worth the price.. i'd go with injen or aem.

I'm with my 'Boi on that one...just go with AEM cai. Great price almost exactly the same gain as the injen, but less expensive...

one more thing, I live in south jerzee and there's a lot of puddle of water on R.30 you think I'll be save to put CAI on my car?

ShowStoppers of course...give em' a call and ask for Chuck or Rocky...(818)243-0954.

Injen Polished Cold Air intake - $210.00 shipped

Injen Colored Cold Air intake - $225.00 shipped

Thats pretty cheap shipped...if you were local to Orange County on the other hand...

JHM EP3,

I live in central south jersey and I have the AEM CAI and i would definately not go with it if i was you.... I suck up water all the time no matter what...Im getting rid of it and going with the V2 which sits on the top of the engine bay... dont go with the cai its too risky with all the rain we get. gl

I've been running the Injen CAI through some nasty winters and summers for the last year with no problems whatsoever. Stay out of any puddles that'll go past your lugs and you'll be fine.

maybe my problem is unique to my car but I have a 2003 si with aem cai, greddy evo 2 with the eibach pro kit springs and i tend to suck up water even on highway or country driving when there is enough rain..maybe its just my car

Even the OEM intake will suck up some water. It's when we are sucking up nothing but water when it gets dangerous.

oogy-boogy,

just out of curiousity where is the filter located on the injen cai, is it extended all the way to the bottom right in front of the drivers side wheel well? stb

don't worry about puddles. you basically have to go bumper deep into a puddle and rev the shit out of your car to actually hydrolock. (personal experience)

go for cai...who cares what brand, cai is the way to go!

btw...i travel rt. 30 on a daily basis too, it doesnt really get that bad...stick to the left!;)
